Last week I met up with Natalie from The Blonde Ethos and we headed to the Be:Fit London Women’s Health and Fitness Event in London. It was a big event with over 100 of the best health, wellbeing and fitness related brands showcasing their products. It was lovely to meet the people behind many of the brands I know and love and find out more about them, as well as try some very tasty samples and get a few show discounts!
The Lorna Jane stand was bright and colourful, with their beautiful Spring/Summer collection on full show. I resisted the clothes however, and picked up the ‘More’ book instead. After getting the Lorna Jane diary as a present from my boyfriend, I have wanted the More book and I was lucky enough to pick up the last one at Be:Fit! I have been a fan of Linwoods Flaxseed for quite a while now and after trying the flaxseed, cocoa and berries variety I just could not resist. The Nakd bar stand was frenzy – hands from all directions were reaching for the bite sized samples of all the flavours – and who could blame them? Nakd bars are delicious and the prices at the show were amazing. After following Gymluxe for quite a while on Twitter, I was already an admirer of their clothes, but after seeing them in person I just could not resist buying something. It was this drape jacket that I ended up bringing home with me- I just love it! My favourite stand was Vegesentials. After reviewing the juices on my blog it was just lovely to meet the founder in person, she is such a nice lady! Matcha is something I’ve read up on and had on my ‘to try’ list for quite some time, so I was excited to see a few stands about Matcha, one being these Vivid Drinks, which are the first ready mixed, ready to drink matcha drinks. They tasted delicious too, my favourite was the Grape and Elderflower flavour. I ended up buying a pot of Miracle Matcha tea to bring home with me- if you’re wondering what I’m blabbering on about, don’t worry, I’ll be doing a blog post on matcha!
I had a great time at the event, I also took part in an exercise class run by Louise Hazel and had a Health MOT check by Nuffield Health. My arms ached from all the bags I had picked up throughout the day but luckily I had worn my Nike Frees so my feet were fine. I was in absolute awe of all of the beautiful, fit women who were also at Be:Fit. Just seeing all of their bodies in their sportswear was great motivation! I definitely recommend everyone to go next year if you’re even remotely interested in health & fitness, or want to find out more about the different brands in the industry. I’ll definitely be going back again.
